Interesting point. I see a lot of the nihilism you talk about. It seems as though the rhetoric is either entirely nihilistic or way too optimistic.

The approach I take is slightly different. I write about trading, as it pertains to new traders in general, with a pessimistic tone. Not nihilistic. I'm pessimistic about the way we traditionally view trading and market it towards newbies.

I believe that success is absolutely possible, with experience and objectivity. But it takes a lot of work, and that's nothing to sugarcoat.
